about me
I am quite unashamed to say that I always try to take the most romantic/dramatic picture that I can. This frequently means early or late light but being around at those times is part of the joy of doing what I do. Since moving to North Devon I have created the largest library of images of the area that there is and my work is used by Devon Life, Cornwall Life, Somerset Life, Exmoor and Heritage magazines; by the North Devon Marketing Bureau and North Devon District Council; by the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty authority and extensively by local and national businesses. Prints of my photographs are also sold in local galleries. I live near Braunton on the North Devon coast. I have been taking landscape photographs for the last 30 years and have made a living out of it for the last six. Previous to that, I was studio manager of a leading advertising agency in Southampton where I had ten years experience of digitally manipulating photographs before digital photography was invented. Whilst there, I had published a range of New Forest greetings cards and a book of full colour photography of the area - Southampton, Portrait of a Maritime City. My second book of landscape photographs, "Perfect Exmoor", was published by Halsgrove in April 2008
